Neglecting neck and underarms is bad for skin care

Neglecting neck and underarms is bad for skin care Women who want to look after their skin need to make sure they remember to give time to less prominent areas like their underarms and feet, according to one dermatologist.

Dermatologist and author Dr Debra Luftman told the Health News Digest that many women do not spend enough time focusing on hard to reach regions.

She said: "Preparing skin can be accomplished in a few simple steps. Start by examining your current beauty routine to ensure that often neglected areas of the skin are getting properly pampered."

The doctor continued to say that although stubble and irritation may make underarms difficult to deal with they still should be a part of every woman's beauty regime.

Using natural products on underarms can help with irritation over time and Dr Luftman pointed out that using a moisturiser with some sun protection is vital to having beautiful-looking skin.

In other natural skin care news, the Daily Mail's beauty correspondents Sarah Stacey and Josephine Fairley recently recommended skin care companies should be on their toes as new legislation passed by the European Commission means that sunscreen must provide more protection.
