Alva Effitan Insect Repellent Spray delivers great natural protection from mosquitoes, ticks & horseflies. The effectiveness of Effitan has been tested both at the Swiss Tropical Institute in Basel and at the Institut Dr. Dautel in Berlin. The results show that Effitan protects effectively against mosquitoes for up to 8 hours, and against ticks for up to 6 hours. The testing concluded that Effitan was effective for 2 hours longer than the best selling market leader, Autan. Additional outdoor tests show Effitan's effectiveness in protecting against horseflies and fleas. Alva didn't mention anything about midges in Scotland so we can't say for sure if it will repel them... If you're willing to give it a try please let us know how you get on!
