Sanddorn is Alva's premium anti-ageing skin care range based on the cold-pressed oil of the organic sea buckthorn berry - one of the most valuable anti-oxidants in the natural skin care world. Sea buckthorn is renowned as an effective protection against the Sun's UV rays, as well as being prized for its anti-ageing and moisturising qualities.

Sea buckthorn is rich in provitamin A, vitamin E and non- saturated fatty acids such as olein and the very rare palmitoleic acid. That's why Sanddorn products are ideal for normal & dry skin as well as mature skin over the age of 30. Combined with other bio-active ingredients such as jojoba oil, cupuaçu butter, royal jelly, shea butter and hyaluronic acid, Alva has developed a deeply nourishing highly effective premium skincare range.

Alva's dermatological studies showed that the moisturising day and night creams increased the level of moisture in the skin by 76% after 4 weeks use, while the depth of fine lines and wrinkles was reduced by 29.3%.
