Leighton Meester rocks the red carpet with natural make-up
With the huge trend for bold lipstick this season, it's refreshing to see Gossip Girl Leighton Meester stepping out in natural make-up.
The fresh-faced actress attended the premier of her new film in an unusual crochet dress and messy up-do complimented with simple and subtle make-up.
Natural eye shadow, mascara and a touch of blusher for an attractive glow was all that the star needed, reported Allure magazine.
"The trick to keeping minimal makeup looking elegant for an evening event is to make sure everything is refined. Skin should look flawless and luminous, but not shiny," said Sophia Panych writing for the news source.
Ms Meester is not the only Hollywood star to forego a full face of make-up and look great; Halle Berry was seen with natural make-up at the AFI Fest.
She let her figure hugging little black dress make the statement and kept her make-up understated, the Daily Mail reported.
