Living Nature's top tips for Christmas party make-up
Many women want to update their look for the party season, but it can be difficult to decide what products to buy and what style to go for.
However, Serena Warwick, national account manager at Living Nature, has shared her top tips for how to look fabulous while taking care of your skin with natural beauty products.
"Smokey eyes are back for the party season," she revealed.
Ms Warwick recommended Living Nature's Eye Shadow Duo - Siennas as the ideal product for creating this look.
"Blend both the light as a base and highlight with the dark adding depth to all eye colours," she advised.
"Complete the look with Living Nature's Natural Eye Pencil in Midnight and either Jet Black or Blackened Brown mascara, available in both thickening and conditioning."
As well as the eyes, women need to ensure they have got a good base to work with, whether they choose to go for a tinted moisturiser or a foundation.
"A good natural base is key to a long lasting make-up," Ms Warwick explained.
She recommended the Living Nature's Clear Lights Tinted Moisturiser for women who are looking for light coverage.
Alternatively, there is the Illuminating Tint, Light Foundation, which Ms Warwick said is ideal for giving the skin a "healthy shimmer".
"For those preferring a full, flawless base, Living Nature Foundations have a wide range of shades to suit everyone," she added.
"Set these with their Luminous Powder, which adds the perfect finishing touch of colour and comes in a refillable aluminium compact," Ms Warwick recommended.
"Concealer is one of those year-round essential beauty items but also a 'must have' for the season," she continued.
"Just a touch is needed and Living Nature's light but creamy formula also contains manuka oil so when covering spots its also treating them and can also be used around the eyes both under-eye and on the lid as a good base for long-lasting eye-make-up."
Ms Warwick also recommended using a lip pencil, as this stops colour from fading as quickly.
"Living Nature's Laughter Lip Pencil is a versatile shade for most colourings," she said.
Women with warm colourings should opt for a richer pink, such as Living Nature's Morning Sun Lipstick, while those with a paler complexion should choose a light pink, such as the Lip Gloss in Softest Blush.
"Make-up always wears best on skin that is well hydrated, so try and treat your skin with extra care throughout the party season," Ms Warwick advised.
"Living Nature's Hydrating Gel Mask contains large quantities of plant nutrients which will nourish & replenish skin that needs re-energising," she said.
"Cosmetics are there to enhance your natural beauty and should make you feel brighter & more confident, helping you to present the face you want to the world, reflecting your personality or just the occasion.
"Good skincare will give you the best base to work with, rather like a blank canvas," she added.
Ms Warwick also stressed the need to remove make-up at night to keep the skin "clear and radiant".
And for those wanting a quick pick-me-up for instant glamour this Christmas party season, she recommended Living Nature's Bronzing Compact.
"One shade suits all and it can be swept over all contours of the face and decolletage to add instant radiance - great for those Christmas and New Year parties and the morning after when you need to look refreshed quickly!"
