Benefits of 'nutrient-rich' supplements highlighted
People who are looking to build on their natural skin care routine have been told the benefits of using nutrient-rich supplements.
Simon Jurkiw, research and education manager at Maxinutrition, said products like these can provide "convenient, high-quality" nourishment.
He added that some supplements can help to aid refuelling after exerting energy, while others can also provide the nutrients necessary to recover from intense exercise.
"Whole food, clearly, also aids recovery but supplements provide a convenient, high-quality option," the expert added.
Furthermore, those looking to take natural products will also be able to boost the amount of nutrients that they consume, which might be otherwise difficult to obtain.
Recently, FitSugar.com listed its top five super foods to stock up on at the moment.
These included seaweed, kamut, coconut oil, incaberries and hemp oil.
The source noted that these can help with everything from weight loss, to improving a person's sex life and reducing appetite.
