Blackcurrants could bolster organic skin care
Fans of natural skin care who eat circulation-boosting foods like blackcurrants can improve their complexion, according to one website which gave its tips on how to introduce the fruit into a diet.
AllAboutYou.com stated that recent Japanese research showed the dark fruit can help to reduce the signs of ageing that skin is prone to.
"A recent Japanese study has revealed these little blue balls of beauty power can boost blood flow around the body, in turn helping to eliminate dark circles under the eyes - a sign of age, lack of sleep or bad blood flow," it said.
The website added that blackcurrants can be combined with bio-yogurt and salads in order to create a healthy meal.
In other natural beauty news, food like salmon, dark green vegetables and nuts help you achieve beautiful natural looking hair, according to the Independent's diet and fitness correspondent, Eilish O'Regan.
