Bo Derek prefers natural beauty to plastic surgery
Actress Bo Derek has spoken out against plastic surgery, saying she prefers natural beauty to cosmetic enhancement.
The star, who is most famous for the 1979 Blake Edwards film 10, said that she has not followed many other celebrities down the cosmetic surgery route.
"When you look at women who have had plastic surgery, they have lost something - usually an expression, something unique to their faces," the actress added.
Derek said that she has always admired women who embrace their natural beauty and has to keep reminding herself that is why she will not get surgery.
However, the actress, who has also modelled for Playboy and judged the 2006 Miss Universe, said she does sometimes get scared by her older face and wishes her skin was like it used to be.
Derek is not alone, as fellow Hollywood actress Halle Berry recently said that she prefers natural beauty and does not like to be caked in makeup.
