Donna Air backs organic milk campaign

Donna Air backs organic milk campaign TV presenter Donna Air is to promote organic milk and its connection to natural beauty for the Organic Milk Supplier’s Cooperative (OMSC).

The star, of Big Breakfast and Byker Grove fame, will be promoting the dairy product for female consumers, saying they need to think more about how the food and drink they eat affects their skin and beauty.

Gill Crane, communications manager for the OMSC, described Air as the "ideal campaign partner", adding: "We’re encouraging everyone to think more carefully about the quality and content of their food and drink."

Many people do not consider how what they eat and drink affects them and their natural beauty, Ms Crane said.

The campaign will consists of a microsite on the internet, providing information on organic milk and its benefits and about women who have experienced benefits from the drink.

Recently, Huw Bowles, chair of the Organic Trade Board, said that organic milk is bucking the trend seen in the rest of the market, which has experienced falling sales.ADNFCR-2389-ID-19399195-ADNFCR
