Facing up to obesity is important
Fans of natural skin care need to make sure they keep an eye on their weight and diet, according to one expert, who said that many people do not realise they are obese.
Dr Dean Marshall, chairman of the British Medical Association's (BMA) Scottish General Practitioner's Committee, said that over the last few years the numbers of obese people in the UK have rocketed.
He said: "One of the big issues is the way a lot of people consider weight they know they're overweight but they don't see themselves as obese."
The expert added that when some clinically obese people see stories or figures about obesity in the press, they do not see themselves as in that group.
Using natural beauty products can help women to achieve looks which are usually seen on catwalks without using chemical-based cosmetics, according to celebrity makeup artist Christy Coleman.
