Organic skin care: Eat your way to better skin
Fans of organic skin care could get a healthier complexion by eating the right foods, according to a new diet which does not rule out carbohydrates or sugar.
Elle magazine reported that dieting expert Tosca Reno has introduced the new regime which includes natural products such as bee pollen and flax.
"Tosca doesn't demand 'no carbs' or 'no sugars' and to make sure you never feel like you are going hungry, she recommends that you eat five to seven small meals a day to minimise snacking," the publication stated.
Meals which the magazine said fit in with the plan include parchment-baked fish with vegetables and stir-fried chicken and it added that many athletes follow similar diets to make sure they are full of energy.
Kirsty Jewson, Saks beauty guru, recently said that drinking enough water and milk thistle is a good way to keep a complexion looking good.
