Superfoods 'are a simple way to boost health'
Superfoods offer several health benefits and are increasingly simple to incorporate into a diet, it has been claimed.
Dr Claire Kelly, owner of Indigo Herbs, claimed more and more people are looking to boost their wellbeing by eating such foods.
She described how superfoods are "really available now" and there are "amazing" benefits that come from them.
It was suggested the rise in popularity of superfoods is due to a "people-driven movement" where individuals are sharing their experiences of the products.
Dr Kelly explained superfoods such as Barley Grass are easy to introduce to a diet, as it comes in a powder form and can be mixed into a smoothie to add an extra "nutritious" element.
Sports nutritionist at healthydoesit.co.uk Andrew Haworth recently commented on the benefits of taking supplements containing iron to support a vegetarian diet.
According to Mr Haworth, this is one way people can ensure they get enough of the mineral which is largely found in red meat.
