Women get the hump with porky partners
A recent survey commissioned by the Atkins diet found that 16% of women said they put their partner on a diet without telling them. Almost a third of women have also insisted their partner loses weight and one in ten said they would consider leaving their partner if he put on too much weight.
Women admit to using a variety of ploys to get their men to loose weight such as commenting on their food choices and making comparisons with celebrities like Brad Pitt & David Beckham. Some even pour Diet Coke into non-diet bottles, according to a survey of 10,000 adults.
More than a third of men surveyed said they feel self-conscious when their partner comments on good looking film stars and other celebrities.
