Achieving body confidence
Self esteem for UK women has been found to be surprisingly low, according to a new survey.
The Dove Body Confidence Census suggests that only two per cent of women consider themselves beautiful, while only one in eight feel that they can call themselves attractive.
A spokesperson for Dove told Female First that respondents blamed the media, as well as friends, family and partners for their low esteem.
While body confidence certainly comes from within, caring for your outward appearance can also be a bit of a boost.
Spending more time on skincare and haircare can give you a real lift, helping to set you up for the day ahead.
According to this poll the biggest source of pressure to look good comes from ourselves, so perhaps relaxing your standards and getting into a new better beauty regime could help remove any esteem doubts.
