Bathers can act quickly to prevent sunburn
Fans of natural skin care need to try and avoid sunburn this summer, according to one expert, who said that even if you are burned there are things you can do to lessen the damage.
Dermatologist Dr Jennifer Linder told American news provider ABC about the precautionary measures people can take when they are sunbathing and the benefits natural skin care products can give those who are affected by sunburn.
Ms Linder recommended using products that contain the organic sea-dwelling plant algae, which the doctor said will help reduce the impact of sunburn.
She added that products which contain algae can reduce UV-induced inflammation by up to 75 per cent and said that natural skin care lotions containing aloe vera are also an effective treatment for sunburn.
In other skin care news, lighter makeup and protecting your skin with sunscreen are two crucial changes that people can implement to achieve natural beauty in the summer season, according to Examier.com.
