Brits need to be savvy on the beach
British holidaymakers have been the scourge of foreign beaches for too long and need to learn the basics of skin care, according to one newspaper.
The Telegraph said that Britons who sunbath while holidaying abroad do not look after their skin in the way that they should, which could interest people considering natural skin care products.
It states: "There is no excuse. The trick is to prep the body to ensure you look more like Bianca Jagger in St Tropez and less like Bianca in Eastenders."
Tips such as trying to optimise your tanning time and building up resistance to prolonged sun exposure before you go on holiday were given by the newspaper.
The Telegraph also pointed out that people should not be concerned by claims that worrying about how you look on the beach is superficial, as damaged skin is the biggest cause of skin cancer and premature ageing.
In other news, The Daily Mail recently reported that the key to preserving natural beauty lies in a good, reliable sunscreen.
