Enjoying sun without natural skincare products 'raises health risks'
Those who are planning on spending time out and about without using natural and organic sunscreen products run the risk of developing a number of health problems, an expert asserts.
Dr David Bank, founder of the Center for Dermatology, Cosmetic and Laser Surgery, says that some people still resist using sunscreen despite the well-known link between overexposure and cancer, the News Star reports.
He says that a number of minerals such as zinc and titanium can help with this process naturally, while extracts such as aloe can provide a soothing effect for those with sensitive skin.
Those who deploy a natural and organic sunscreen product that physically blocks the sun rather than absorbs UV rays are more likely to avoid aggravating acne or sensitive skin, he tells the news provider.
Medical News Today recently reported recommendations by The American Cancer Society that people should use more natural skin care sunscreen as a way of blocking the sun's harmful rays.
