Floral and natural dominate trends at London Fashion Week
People wanting to stay on the cutting edge of makeup trends may want to adopt a more floral style, according to one expert, who suggested flamboyant looks were prevalent on the catwalks at London Fashion Week.
Makeup artist Caroline Donnelly said that the two biggest trends at the event were natural beauty and adopting lots of colour with black featuring around the eyes.
She said: "It [London Fashion Week] is very important and is what everything goes around in the fashion industry. They show the latest trends and show what they want to see and wear for the next season."
Traditional styles were also reversed at the event, according to Ms Donnelly, who said that typical cheek colours were not used on the cheeks and lip colours were not used to decorate model's pouts.
London Fashion Week saw designers such as Mark Fast and Vivienne Westwood show off collections and they were among 200 of the industry's most creative UK and International brands which were at the event.
