Good moisturiser is a winter skin care essential
Fans of organic skin care need to make sure they use a good moisturiser as part of their beauty regime this winter, according to one expert.
Marcella Knibb, corporate trainer for the International Dermal Institute, said a moisturiser will help to ward off the impact of the winter elements.
She commented: "Some people may find that their regular moisturiser may not be nourishing enough in the winter months, particularly if they are outdoors a lot. A very good moisturiser will help to keep the skin hydrated and nourished."
The skin care expert added that skin can become dried out by things such as harsh winter winds and central heating, so using a moisturiser is a must.
Changing from a summer to winter moisturiser is an important move, according to the expert.
Recent research from Mintel shows that some fans of natural beauty struggle with cosmetic use-by dates, especially if a product has been bought on impulse.
