Ladies given natural body scrub recipe
Now you can keep your skin looking lovely and smooth without paying a fortune in the process by using a natural body scrub.
Entrepreneur Liz Earle told the Daily Telegraph that people can make their own body scrub.
She said: "I first experienced my favourite home-spun recipe for soft hands and feet on the East African island of Lamu, while on a botanical research field-trip. I now replicate this remedy using ingredients most of us have around the home."
She said that all you need to create this scrub is light olive oil or grapeseed oil, and granulated sugar.
Ms Earle said that all you have to do is mix two tablespoons of the oil with the same amount of sugar.
The mixture should then be rubbed into feet and hands, particularly areas with hard skin, before it is rinsed off and the epidermis is patted gently until it is dry.
You can also avoid developing dry skin by wearing sunblock.
Ivan Singzon, a dermatologist, told ABS-CBN News's Mornings@ANC show that people who spend too much time in the sun could experience a number of problems, including sunburn and dry skin.
