Natural beauty: Ethnic market is growing in UK
Fans of natural beauty who have ethnic complexions should have more options open to them, according to one expert, who said the market needs to grow.
Ian Archbold, show director for the Olympia Beauty Show, said that the ethnic sector needs to be developed for a wider audience.
He said: "We are looking to bring the ethnic market in because there isn't anything catered for the whole of that market for the UK."
Commenting on the wider UK beauty market, Mr Archbold said that the last five years have seen the industry grow, with nail and skin care products increasing in popularity.
The Olympia Beauty Show is reflecting that, according to the expert, who said people are travelling from Europe to see what is happening in the UK beauty market.
Mr Archbold's show took place between September 20th and 21st 2009 at the Grand Hall, Olympia, London.
