Natural fake tan users 'must give themselves all-over polish'
Those applying natural fake tan should ensure they give themselves an all-over polish in order to ensure that this is as effective as possible, a manufacturer asserts.
A spokesperson for St Tropez tells the Galway Advertiser that dry skin is the number one cause of poor turnout, suggesting that moisturising problem areas thoroughly can prevent it.
Palms should be kept natural tan free during the process, with the representative suggesting that latex gloves should be worn, wiping the back of the hands with a diluted compound following this.
The spokesperson tells the news provider: "Make sure you don't rub in your gradual or self tan. Gentle smoothing is all you need, then you can let the product do its work. Rubbing may make the finish uneven."
According to the Examiner, one of the key ways people can prepare for the application of natural fake tan is the use of an exfoliate or body-scrubbing shower mitt.
