Natural hair care: Accessories will be big this season
Fans of natural hair care who want to stay on the cutting edge of style should wear accessories as decorated tresses are in, according to an expert.
Efi Davies, international artistic director at high street salon Toni & Guy, said that for women who are growing their hair out, accessories can take attention away from their transitional locks as well as keep them on trend.
She said: "Hair accessories are massive this season [...] from minimalist alice bands, to 1960s embellished broaches. Bejewelled and decorative, [styles will take] inspiration from 1940s glamour, keep them simple, chic, yet eye-catching."
The expert added that for women who are growing out their hair it is vital they maintain its upkeep with regular trims and take off split ends in order to keep it in optimum condition.
Mintel recently released a report which showed that the UK has a £685 million market for shampoos and conditioners.
