Natural skin care: Education is crucial for healthy complexion
People should be educated about the importance of natural skin care from school age as many are not aware of the damage that can be done by the sun, according to an expert.
Internationally-renowned expert and lecturer in cosmetic dermatology, Dr Mario Luca Russo, said that a proper skin care knowledge is very important so that people grow up protecting their complexion from UV exposure.
He said: "Proper education about how people should look after their skin is extremely important, perhaps this could be incorporated into a high school class."
The dermatologist added that people need to particularly focus on using products which repair the skin after it has been exposed to the sun for long periods.
Good Housekeeping magazine recently said that natural skin care products can benefit complexions because they have nourishing agents which are superior to their chemical counterparts.
