Natural skin care needs 'careful attention'
Fans of natural skin care need to make sure they choose the right shade of foundation if they want to achieve a natural look, according to one expert.
Professional makeup artist Samantha Cooper told the Cambridge News that one of the fundamental mistakes women make is applying foundations that are too dark for their skin tone.
She told the newspaper: "Orange makeup is one of my pet hates. If in doubt when choosing a foundation, go for a shade lighter - never a shade darker."
Applying bronzer is another product which women can often over-do, according to the makeup artist, who said that women should apply the cosmetic in places where they naturally catch the sun rather than smearing it all over their face.
Coleen Rooney recently told the Mirror about her passion for natural skin care and said that people can overload on cosmetics and take away from their natural beauty.
