Natural skin care: Post-pregnancy needs to be natural
Pregnant fans of natural skin care should not worry about getting back into shape too quickly after they have given birth, according to one expert, who said remaining healthy should be a mother's top priority.
Sally Ann Carroll, style editor at Prima Baby magazine, said a woman's main concern after giving birth should not be losing weight, as new mothers will retain their pregnancy glow and natural beauty.
She said: "There is no pressure to get back into shape. You have got other things to worry about - i.e. your baby - and you will go back to shape, but you must not think 'I've got to rush back and get into size eight jeans'."
In other news, supermodel and four-time mother Heidi Klum recently said that she plans to lose her baby weight by keeping active and eating natural foods.
The wife of soul singer Seal said she does not have any secret gimmicks to shift the weight but said she would not be sitting on the sofa and eating junk food.
