Natural skin care products are truly beneficial
The idea that natural skin care products may be ethically more sound than their chemical-based counterparts but not actual as effective has been challenged by a team of researchers, according to one newspaper.
The Daily Mail said that now there is scientific evidence to back up the long-held beliefs of herbalists who have claimed that natural skin care remedies can outperform unnatural rivals.
"'Natural but effective' is a big new trend in face creams, with many well-known names in the field now able to offer clinically proven evidence that their products do, in fact, work," the newspaper stated.
Skin care expert Georgie Cleeve added that effective compounds can be extracted from natural ingredients so that organic skin care products are as effective as possible.
The claims have recently been supported by celebrity makeup artist Lina Hanson, who told treehugger.com how she noticed a stark difference in her complexion after using a natural beauty range.
