Practicing skin safety is 'crucial this summer'
Looking after your skin and applying sunscreen this summer is vital if you want to avoid sun damage and skin cancer later in life, according to one dermatologist.
People considering natural skin care may be interested by the advice which comes from Dr Jeffrey Lauber, who told Creators.com about the dangers of overexposure to the sun.
He told the website: "The sun is most dangerous between noon and two pm. If you do sunbathe, don't do it during these hours. And wear a highly protective sunscreen, even when you're just out and about at that time of day."
Dr Lauber answered other questions, such as does the sun cause wrinkles? and can dark-skinned people suffer from sunburn?
In other natural skin care news, Examiner.com recently said that applying lighter makeup and using sunscreen are two important parts of a fashionable natural beauty regime.
