Quick styling is en vogue this autumn
Women who love natural hair care products should not worry about spending too much time on their locks this autumn, according to one expert who said that being slap-dash when styling can produce stunning results.
Mario Failla, a Saks hair expert, said that not washing hair in the usual manner and instead going for "little tricks" like dry shampoo can help women shave time off their natural beauty regime and help their tresses look fresh.
She said: "It saves you time on having to wash and dry your hair. There is a small catch though - it works best on lightly-coloured hair, as it can make dark hair look white or grey."
The expert added that women who want to save time but still look good can use her advice to great effect during the hectic party season this Christmas, when styling time will be scarce.
In other natural beauty news, Mintel recently reported that the UK has a £685 million market for shampoos and conditioners.
