Staying natural is crucial for healthy skin
Making sure that you embrace natural products is vital for people who suffer from itchy skin, according to one expert who said wrapping up in man-made fabrics could be detrimental this winter.
Cosmetic doctor Jean-Louis Sebagh told the Metro that staying indoors during the winter and exposing skin to central heating systems with no hydrating substitutes can lead to itchy skin.
"It may sound obvious but opt for loose-fitting clothes made from natural fibres. Wrapping yourself up in tight, man-made materials can lead to sweating. Perspiration softens the skin and breaks down protective layers," he said.
The expert added that using natural skin care products and investing in a humidifier are good ways to reduce the impact of central heating systems.
Style icon Coleen Rooney recently told the Daily Mirror that embracing natural beauty can be more stunning than applying too much makeup.
