Women in 20s 'should invest in natural skincare to tackle acne problems'
Younger women in their 20s may want to invest in natural and organic skincare products to tackle any acne problems they continue to experience, an expert asserts.
Ikepo Adedeji, writing for 234next.com, says that while this problem will usually clear up by itself, suggesting that this is due to levels of hormone activity, but claims that managing it with cosmetics can help minimise its appearance.
She states that if this continues into a woman's 30s and is still severe, it could be worth visiting a dermatologist. If it is milder, then cleansing and moisturising the face could be a key step in maintaining the appearance of youth, she tells the news provider.
"Skin tends to lose the ability to hold moisture as it ages, so invest in a good moisturiser for dry skin or try mixing your regular body lotion with some good skin oil," Ms Adedeji asserts.
Spa Elder at Fern Tree spokeswoman Stella Gray recently told the Jamaica Observer that women can make a number of natural skincare products in order to ease dry and itchy skin.
