Grooms should not overload on products
Male fans of natural hair care who are getting married should make sure that they do not put too many products on their barnets, according to one expert, who said overloading on gel can make locks look shiny.
Errol Douglas, hairstylist, said that taking time to research which hairstyle and products will suit a groom's tresses is important and will help them look their best on the big day.
He said: "You can take in little trends; if your groom-to-be is taller or shorter you don't want to look too short or too tall. It is all to do with what type of style you have."
Mr Douglas added that men who want to go for a style-stubble look should be careful it does not look like they are recovering from an overnight hangover.
The UK has a £685 million market for shampoos and conditioners, according to research from Mintel.
