Men are paying more attention to natural skin care
There is an increasing divide between men who are not afraid to preen themselves and those stuck in the stone age, according to one journalist who said thing have changed dramatically over recent years.
The Daily Telegraph's Tom Horan said that he was shocked on a recent trip to a work football game when he went to the men's locker room and saw the assortment of natural skin care products that the younger blokes were using.
He said: "The great dividing line between the grooming generation and mine is the use of bar soap. With their hook-shaped bottles of iridescent shower gel, the groomers look at you as if you're about to wash yourself with a slab of boiled animal fat."
Leyla Tabaksert, beauty editor at Zest magazine, disagrees with Horan's stance and recently said that although men are definitely more interested in natural beauty there is still a stigma attached to wanting to look good.
