Natural skin care: Gents are as demanding as women
Male fans of natural shampoo are just as demanding as their female counterparts when it comes to buying products, according to one expert who said stars like Johnny Depp are inspiring male looks.
Jason Wigglesworth, salon director at the Gentry Grooming Co, said that men are also paying more attention to their skin in the pursuit of male perfection.
He said: "Men are treating hairstyles as an accessory. This is more acceptable than it has ever been. With fashion and trends evolving, so are men's thoughts on hair. Johnny Depp is inspiring men's locks."
The expert added that big trends this year include longer, textured looks that are achieved through straightening and creative hair products.
In other news, the Guardian recently stated that Twilight star Robert Pattinson advised men that to get an interesting look they should embrace their natural locks and not brush them for ten years.
