Big hair styles are 'in' for 2010
Fans of natural hair care who want to stick with the latest trends should try and keep their locks looking big this year, according to one website, which said that going large is the only way to be.
MSN style looked at the latest haircuts that famous ladies have been sporting in the first months of the noughties and says high, puffed-out barnets are en vogue with the trendsetters.
"Whether it's Amy Winehouse's bouffant, Madonna's bleached blonde curls or that haircut worn by Jennifer Aniston, big hair trends in Celebville can influence the way us mere mortals style ourselves for decades," it stated.
It added that the trend is nothing new and dates back to the 50s, when women like Jackie Onassis and Audrey Hepburn went for big locks.
A recent study of identical and non-identical Danish twins has found that a woman's genetic makeup is the major factor in determining whether or not hair will lose its colour.
