Blonde natural hair dye 'can boost your earnings'
A study has suggested that blonde natural hair dye really can help you have more fun - as you could earn £600 a year more than those with darker locks.
The Daily Mail reported that the image of the 'dizzy blonde' is far from the truth, with a study revealing that those with lighter natural hair colour earn on average £23,150, compared to £22,586 for a brunette and £22,327 for red-heads.
Around 3,000 professional women responded to the survey, conducted by Superdrug, and gave their views on how they viewed their position in the workplace.
Blondes admitted to sometimes playing up to their ditzy image, while eight out of ten ladies with brunette natural hair colour said that they felt valued in their employment.
Simon Comins, director of toiletries at the company, said: "This research goes to show that you can't judge a book by its cover and you shouldn't make assumptions about people just because of the way they look."
Earlier this month, celebrity stylist Nicky Clarke said that a good natural hair care routine should not be difficult to maintain.
