Corrine Bailey-Rae embraces natural beauty
One of the UK's most well-known soul singers has spoken to one newspaper about her desire to grow old gracefully and embrace her natural beauty rather than opting for cosmetic surgery.
Corrine Bailey-Rae told the Guardian that she thinks there is "something really wrong with using Botox" and said that the treatment stops people making facial expressions.
"I find this western idea that ageing is wrong really distasteful. You should be happy that you look 50, you look 60, you've got to 70 it should be an achievement. Everyone's going to look older, and then guess what? We're all going to die," she said.
The Leeds-based singer added that she enjoys her sleep and has a "take it or leave it" attitude towards alcohol.
Hayden Panettiere, who plays Claire in Heroes, recently said that she was tired of being called 'cute' and wanted to change her image with one decisive move by dying her hair red, which may interest fans of natural hair care.
