Diet 'directly affects your hair'
When it comes to having beautiful hair, natural food like salmon, dark green vegetables and nuts are crucial, according to one expert.
The Independent's diet and fitness correspondent Eilish O'Regan says along with natural hair care products, your diet is vital if you want gorgeous hair.
She said: "Your crowning glory of hair depends as much on your diet as the expensive shampoos and conditioners you treat it with."
Ms O'Regan added that salmon is a brilliant hair-friendly food as it is loaded with omega three fatty acids and is also a high-quality protein filled with vitamin B12 and iron.
She also highlighted spinach and broccoli as excellent sources of vitamins A and C and picked out brazil nuts as one of nature's best sources of selenium, which is an important mineral for your scalp.
In other natural beauty news, it has been suggested by one make-up expert that women who use natural skin care products are more confident and radiant.
