Miss Average is actually natural beauty
Fans of natural makeup who have average proportions are actually some of the most gorgeous people, according to researchers who said the most attractive women are not that out-of-the-ordinary.
The scientists from the University of Toronto found that men want women who have eyes that are divided by a gap which is 46 per cent of their face's width and found that hairstyles can heavily influence a person's attractiveness.
Professor Kang Lee from the research group said: "We already know that different facial features make a female face attractive - large eyes, for example, or full lips.
Our study proves that the structure of faces also contributes to our perception of facial attractiveness."
The newspaper added that women who fit into the researcher's findings include Jessica Alba, Shania Twain and Liz Hurley.
Fans of natural hair care who want to keep up with the latest glamorous look to emerge from the red carpet this season should opt for a dramatic updo, as a host of stars have gone for the towering tresses in recent months.
