Natural hair care: Be 'savvy' with colours
Women considering a change in their natural hair care have been told that they need to be savvy when choosing their hair dyes .
Mario Charalambous, technical director of Richard Ward Hair and Metrospa, recently told MSN Style that while the need for the latest natural hair care trends can sometimes surpass what suits you, it is important to ensure that the shades are right for you.
"If you're cool-toned (like Elizabeth Hurley, Angelina Jolie and Eva Longoria), you'll suit blue-toned reds, deep, dark colours and blue-toned blondes such as platinum," he said.
Mr Charalambous continued, stating that for warm-toned women, (like Nicole Kidman, Kate Winslet or Charlize Theron), you'll suit honey blondes, warm-toned reds and warm chestnuts.
This may be of some use to women considering embracing the latest natural hair care trend that is currently being sported by Rihanna and Sharon Osbourne – red locks.
Before taking the plunge, take the time to find out whether you're cool-toned or warm-toned.
