Natural hair care: Choppy bobs are en vogue
Celebrities like Alexa Chung are making the choppy bob more popular with fans of natural hair care, according to one magazine which said the style has made an impressive comeback.
Stylist magazine said that although the look is nothing new, a longer version of it has been worn by stars who do not mind the high maintenance aspect of the hairdo.
"Sharp bobs can look a little mumsy so a longer bob that's broken at the ends is much sexier," according to hairstylist Luke Hersheson.
The magazine said that Alexa Chung pulls the look off well and added that women who sport it will need to use products to make sure it stays looking polished and sleek.
Celebrity makeup artist Ariane Poole recently said that the success of the Twilight films has inspired women to experiment with a darker, more gothic-influenced look this winter and celebrities like Aygness Deyn have also sported the style.
