Natural hair care: High style is all the rage
Fans of natural hair care who want to follow the example of some of the world's coolest women should go for the high hair look which has started to appear in the autumn, according to one magazine.
Hello! magazine said that stars like Janet Jackson, Rihanna and the queen of pop herself, Madonna, have all sported the style at award ceremonies recently.
The publication gave a guide to recreating the look and said using rollers on tresses before unwinding the sections and backcombing from the root with a fine-tooth comb will help to create the distinctive style.
"When you get to the front section, backcomb only from the back of the section so the surface of the hair remains smooth looking," the magazine advised.
More flamboyant hairdos are being seen in the public eye with artists such as La Roux making the quiff en vogue once more, recalling 80s styles.
