Natural hair care important to keep winter weather at bay
Winter brings with it freezing cold rains, arctic winds and roasting central heating – all of which make a good natural hair care routine more important than ever.
A great cut and natural conditioner are the best way to stop the season from ravaging your locks, an expert has said.
Alison Dace, creative director at Saks, told natural hair care fans that chopping off your split ends is one way to instantly refresh frazzled hair.
She added: "If you still need something extra to tame the wildness, look at a conditioning treatment or colour."
As well as salon pampering, your hair will look its best if you also invest in high-quality natural shampoo and conditioner to use at home, Ms Dace added.
Last week, the British Skin Foundation recommended taking action to protect your skin from the forthcoming wintery weather, by applying moisturiser and lip salves to create a protective barrier.
