Natural hair care: Interlacing could be perfect for spring
People considering their natural hair care could try out a new trend for spring and summer, which an expert believes will become more popular as the weather gets warmer.
Jane Stacey, TONI & GUY international technical director, said that interlacing is a trend which is becoming more popular with women who want to try a new look.
"A new emerging technique being used at the moment in salons is 'interlacing' - this is when the hair is plaited and a lighter colour than your natural shade is applied by painting onto the surface of the plait," she said.
Ms Stacey added that the effect leaves hair looking fresh and full of volume, which could interest people looking for a new natural hair care tip.
Reese Witherspoon's celebrity hairstylist Paul Lebrecque told InStyle magazine recently that the secret to achieving good-looking holiday hair is keeping conditioner in locks during a flight in order to stop the stale cabin air making it frizzy.
