Natural hair care: longer tresses are in
Fans of natural hair care should consider growing their tresses longer in the new year, according to one expert, who said that the lengthened locks will offer women more choices when styling.
Cos Sakkas, TONI&GUY international artistic director, said women can do so much more with long hair and could even have a go at trying to emulate the styles of sporty celebrities like Diane Kruger.
"Longer hair is great as it allows such versatility, a really great look at the moment - as seen on the catwalk - are glamorous vintage waves," he said.
The expert added that for a vintage look women should part the hair on the side and sweep over one shoulder and secure with subtle grips.
A recent study by the Alopecia Clinic showed that women are more concerned about losing their hair and managing unwanted hair than they are about gaining weight or getting wrinkles.
