Natural hair care: People should please themselves

Natural hair care: People should please themselves This party season women should make sure they create hairstyles which suit them rather than pandering to tresses that they see in beauty magazines, according to one expert.

Gmanews.tv's Jayme Emerald Gatbonton said that the airbrushed pictures seen in the glossies often do not suit "mere mortals" and instead women should take time to consider which style would look good on them.

"Before you go for Jennifer Aniston's layered locks, Posh Beckham's pin-straight bob or Blake Lively's tousled waves, determine first the shape of your face. This is a key factor in finding the hairstyle that would look most flattering on you," according to the expert.

Jo Tubato, a senior stylist at Azta salon, added that determining the texture, density and shape of hair is important before deciding on a certain cut.

Fans of natural hair care who are looking for a new look this winter could follow the lead of TV presenter Cat Deeley, who has changed her clean-cut hairdo for rock chick tresses, according to one Stylist Magazine.
