Natural hair care products have 'developed dramatically'
Fans of natural hair care are spoilt for choice thanks to advances in the development of organic products, according to one expert.
Australian hairstylist Oscar Cullinan told Vogue that more companies are trying to incorporate green and organic ingredients into their products.
He told the magazine: "There has been great research and development into plant-based ingredients which has been fantastic for improving the performance of natural hair care products."
The expert added that the range of ingredients available in natural hair care formulas has grown as consumer demand for green cosmetics intensifies.
Mr Cullinan said that being natural this summer is a big look and as a hairstylist he is finding more clients asking for stripped down and less complicated cuts.
Celebrity hairstylist Paul Lebrecque, who looks after Reese Witherspoon's locks, recently told InStyle magazine that controlling frizz and protecting hair from sun damage is vital to achieving a good summer look.
