Natural hair care: Red is big in autumn
Fans of natural hair care should think about using red tones in their locks this autumn and winter if they want to stay on trend, according to one leading salon.
Toni&Guy said that celebrities such as Cheryl Cole, Peaches Geldof and Frances Bean have all adopted berry tones and it expects the UK's women to be influenced by the A-listers.
The company's technical team stated: "Colour is all about suitability, it is really important to judge from your skin tone and colouring what shade is best for you."
It added that paler skin tones suit a rose or cherry red shade, while people with a darker complexion should go for a warmer copper colour.
Reese Witherspoon's celebrity hairstylist Paul Lebrecque recently told InStyle magazine that the secret to achieving good-looking holiday hair is keeping conditioner in locks during a flight in order to stop the stale cabin air making it frizzy.
