Natural hair care: Tackle grey hair the natural way
Women who spot their first few grey hairs should try to use colours which are close to their natural hue in order to combat the change, according to one expert.
Mario Failla, Saks hair expert, said that choosing the right colour to cover up silver streaks is very important and could actually bring out natural colours.
"To deal with early signs of greying hair opt for a semi-permanent colour. The great thing is that they will not only cover those few nasty blighters but it will offer your hair a renewed shine and sheen as well as more interest to your natural colour," he stated.
Mr Failla added that people should trust professional companies when colouring tresses rather than trying to create dyes themselves, which could interest fans of natural hair care.
Unilever recently released research which claimed that hair-thinning on top of the head was found to be connected to environmental and lifestyle factors.
