Natural hair care: There are many ways to straighten your locks
Women with long locks have been told how they can carry out natural hair care when straightening their mane.
A report on Living.OneIndia.in said that straightened hair can be styled in many ways, which makes it a common practice.
However, using straighteners or blow dryers can be hazardous, as they can dry out hair, lead to excess dead hair and damage follicles.
"Take a glass of coconut milk and mix two spoons of lime water in it. Put it in a fridge. This will let the content thicken. Massage it on your hair and apply it to the roots. Then comb your hair and wrap it up. After a while you can shape your hair the way you want," said the guide.
It added that other natural hair care methods also exist, such as mixing milk with water and spraying it on to the hair, while honey and milk can also be applied, followed by shampoo and a good combing.
Recently, Hello! magazine reported that Milan Fashion Week has been dominated by a range of pony tails as a way of styling long, straightened hair.
